The Same
I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican. As I watch adherents to the two religions I'm struck by some observations. Here are three examples:
Externally different but internally identical. The same.

- One says the glass is half full; the other says it's half empty. I'm mystified as to how one amount of liquid can create such emotional controversy.
- Each side accuses the other of being unpatriotic and asserts patriotism is a supreme good. However, neither side acknowledges the patriotism of Iran, China, North Korea, Russia and Venezuela as noble and good.
- Party A and Party B equally change their positions as needed and both parties place winning an election above honesty, ethics and the good of the citizens.
Externally different but internally identical. The same.

Paul, that is one of the best comparisons I have heard concerning these two parties in a very long time.....I hereby appoint you the new bringer of enlightenment to the masses!
I remember that episode and it spoke well to the locked-in-ness of the conflict without end.
Frank Gershon???? was the blackwhiteblackwhite -hee used to play in some of the batman TV episodes.
Kind of similar, like a religion, constantly vying for power.
Have you noticed that in the latest conventions there was no discussion of the "planks" Everyone is so ligned up that the church goers are only needed to get the word out...from on high...from the high one in each "Party."
The churches valuate their action through the number of souls they have. The parties by the number of votes.
Follow the money. Follow the power. Keep the masses quiet. Get reelected. That's the way it is.
Do you trust congress? Do you trust either side of the aisle?
And that wee bit makes all the difference in the world.
